Flood situation in the South, especially in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Ranong, Chumphon and Surat Thani provinces, although the water level has eased in some areas, some railway routes in some provinces are still closed for travel. Today (17 Dec 2024), the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) announced the suspension of train services and adjustment of origin and destination stations on the Nakhon Si Thammarat route until further notice, as follows:
